I wonder how many books, podcasts, videos and blogs are out there. What’s the redundancy rate of the principal idea, plot, thought or concept? Does the redundancy thrive due to lack of ubiquitous access to market, because it’s in a different language, on the basis of varying cultural contexts, and a personal signature? Is it analogous to taking selfies at a tourist attraction? How much does the Key Message / Concept vary from it’s central premise across the mediums and the versions within each medium?
What makes a creator of the content more read, viewed, followed than others? I would venture to say it’s the artistic style, succinctness, and story telling prowess. In the here and now, it captivates and delivers rapture. It emancipates the consumer of the content. In the long term, it builds/strengthens trust in the creator and generates a want for more. This can be true for a consumer who desires either an ‘echo-chamber’ effect or ‘alternative-unique’ perspective.
Do we all tap in to one common ocean of notions? Is it one continuous and dynamic churn with inputs and outputs that get incrementally better as we evolve, building atop shoulders of the ones that came before us?Where does this ocean reside? In our genetics, institutions, and folklore.
As we cycle through the human life-form we grow from … observed phenomenons, invaluable lessons, and enriching experiences!
This blog site is but a meager perspective from an inconspicuous lens. Thanks for joining me!
